I have had extensive experience in finding private health aids and caregivers for my family. Only back then times were different and it was safe, easy and financially more reasonable to secure these individuals for your loved ones via ads in local papers, bulletins, word of mouth etc. But today that isn’t the case.
Almost 2 years ago I unexpectedly became seriously ill. Although I recovered from the original problem, I developed a chronic illness which hospitalized me 9 times within one year. At that time I was referred to two private aids to assist me in driving, household chores etc. Unfortunately that did not work out; one aid was fairly good and the other wanted to be somewhere else! I was then referred by a friend to an ad in a church bulletin for One Care Harmony in Green Village, N.J. What a different experience! The owners were personally very interested in my situation and came to my home to meet me and personally evaluate my situation, care and needs. They recommended a licensed individual who I am still using today! That individual I would be lost without! She does household chores, drives me to doctors appointments and is one of the most kind, caring and pleasant individuals I’ve met!
In addition I have Long Term Care Insurance and I do not need to worry about all the paperwork i.e. filing the claims, trouble shooting etc; ALL OF THAT IS HANDLED BY ONECARE HARMONY!
